Optional Insurance Coverage
Because I am Registered Nurses as well as IBCLCs, if you have supplemental health insurance, my fee may be covered as a nursing service. I always recommend checking with your individual insurance provider to see if the visit will be covered.
Companies such as Manulife, Great West Life, Sunlife and Green Shield recognize the International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) credential; however you will have to check with your insurance provider your individual policy to determine your level of coverage. I am not associated with any insurance company and can’t take any responsibility if your insurance plan doesn’t cover the services.
I will provide you with a proof of payment with an IBCLC license number/ I can submit your invoice to be used for your insurance provider.
* You can check if Lactation Consults can be billed as a health spending expense. Some extended benefit plans will cover the cost of a Lactation Consultant.
Please take a moment to fill out the intake or booking form and I will get back to you shortly.
After your appointment, you will receive a personalized feeding plan via email to refer to as needed (with extra resources).
Extra support via text/email is included after the appointment (To clarify concerns you may have about what we have previously worked on during your consultation)
For new concerns, a follow up appointment would be required to be booked.
I am committed to safely supporting you in your home during the COVID-19 pandemic. I have been fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
Thanks!
Virtual Visits
Using a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform, I offer high access to expert breastfeeding care from the comfort of your own home. How does it work? Begin by scheduling an appointment, and then watch your email for intake instructions. When it’s time for your appointment, make sure you find a comfortable spot with good lighting and a stable internet connection. I will send you an invitation to a virtual meeting. From there, it’s up to you how the time is spent. Will discuss your individual needs and goals, and work together to form a plan for you.
