Follow-Up Lactation Consults Are Typically 45 Minutes-1 Hour, and there are no extra or hidden costs if we run over time.
If you have had a previous consultation, the session can also be used to review how the feeding plan has been working for you and your babies (or babies), and to discuss any further options that you would like to explore to equip you with strategies you need to overcome any hurdles.
Before baby breastfeeds as needed, perform a pre-feed weight and a then a post-feed weight at the end of the feed with a highly accurate baby weigh scale that calculates an estimate of how much milk your baby drinks from the breast.
At the end of the consult, an overall summary via e-mail with a written feeding plan, recommendations, and resources will be sent 24-48 hours after the visit.
Included after visit text/phone/email support for 1 week (To clarify concerns you may have about what we have previously worked on during your consultation)
For new concerns, a follow up appointment would be required to be booked.
