- Perform a pre-feed weight and a then a post-feed weight at the end of the feed with a highly accurate baby weigh scale that calculates an estimate of how much milk your baby drinks from the breast.
- I can carry out an oral assessment to help identify any oral restrictions that may be impacting on your breastfeeding or bottle feeding.
- Unlimited phone/text/e-mail support for 3 weeks 24/7.
- Your personal breast pump flange fitting and its effective use demo
- Baby bath demo
Payments can be divided as needed
In the comfort of your home, we arrive at a mutually agreed upon time to ensure your baby is ready to breastfeed. An initial lactation consult is typically 1-1.5 hours in length and there are no extra or hidden costs if we run over time. A follow up lactation consult is typically 45 min-1 hour in length
In the session, we will work together to identify the cause of the problem to equip you with strategies you need to overcome any hurdles.
Observe & assess the entire feed and offer a variety of suggestions and recommendations. Offer hands on support as needed. The goal is to bring you and your baby to a place where breastfeeding is more enjoyable.
At the end of the consult, an overall summary via e-mail with a written feeding plan, recommendations, and resources will be sent 24-48 hours after the visit.
